CHECK OUT AMAZING TRAVEL DEALS WITH TOUR OPERATORS

UK17 Mar Till £24m in my account ‘do-us-part’
Sir Paul McCartney’s (pictured) ex-wife Heather Mills was today awarded £24.3m by London's High Court in a divorce settlement.

Former Beatle McCartney left the court without speaking to the press. But Mills told the press outside the court that she was "glad it's over" and "it was an incredible result to secure mine and my daughter's future".

As part of the deal, Mills will receive £14 million for herself and £2.5m to buy a house in London. The couple failed to reach an agreement in court last month, leaving the judge to determine the final figure.

Sir Paul will also pay £35,000 a year for his four-year-old daughter with Mills, Beatrice, as well as her nanny’s wages.

Referring to the £35,000 a year granted to Beatrice, Mills said: "Beatrice only gets £35,000 a year - so obviously she's meant to travel B class while her father travels A class, but obviously I will pay for that."

The summary judgment stated that Mills had sought £125 million and been offered £15.8 million by Sir Paul.

The judge found that the total value of all Sir Paul's assets, including his business assets, was about £400 million and that there was no evidence at all before him that he was worth £800 million.

Sir Paul, 65, married the former model and charity campaigner Mills, 40, in 2002 but they split four years later, blaming media intrusion into their private lives.
