OJ Simpson (pictured) the former US football star has been found guilty on 12 charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to kidnap and assault with a deadly weapon by a court in the US city of Las Vegas.

Paul Newman (pictured) the Hollywood legend has died of cancer at the age of 83, according to his spokeswoman Marni Tomljanovic.
Tomljanovic told the press that Newman, who won universal acclaim for his acting talent in films such as, Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid, died on Friday. She gave no further details.

Norway has pledged $1bn (£500m) to a new international fund to help Brazil protect the Amazon rainforest.
